Tabula Rasa is a classroom and darkroom organized as a non-profit, in order to help visual art develop in Southeastern North & South Carolina. Tabula Rasa is the only nonprofit public darkroom in North & South Carolina. Tabula Rasa is a place for people of all ages and experiences to enjoy the creative process.

$5 an hour includes chemicals and equipment you must supply your own paper and film. For your use we have 12 enlargers made by Beseler, Omega, and Durst. We have a Durst Labador 138S which can accommodate 5x7 negatives, along with other enlargers which can print 35mm, 120, and 4x5 negatives. We have Cold Light, Diffusion, and Condenser head enlargers. We have plastic film developing tanks for you which can develop 35, 120, and 4x5 negatives. We have the ability to make prints up to 20x24 inches in both fiber-based and RC paper.
